Directions:
Situated in the West Mainland of Orkney.Coming from Stromness; at the top of the hill turn left toward Twatt/Birsay/Sandwick ( A967) . The signpost at this left turn is deceptive as it implies that this road is the A966 (Finstown to Birsay) rather than it leads to the A966 – DO NOT BE FOOLED, you are indeed turning onto the A967!Stay on this road for 8 miles, heading toward Twatt, until you see the Craft Trail sign for Photography and the Appie’s Tea Room sign on the left. From Kirkwall; head toward Stromness (A965) then just after Maeshowe turn right past the Ring of Brodgar and the Standing Stones of Stenness (A986). At the end of this road turn right at the T-junction (shown on the map as a crossroads) toward Twatt (A967) and on for 3 miles until you see the above mentioned signs.
